Get your hands dirty

We offer workshops in the vegetable garden or orchard, depending on the season.

  • Take part in the work in the vegetable garden: preparing the soil, sowing, planting, weeding, mulching, composting or harvesting. There's nothing like a good session in the garden to calm your anxieties, breathe in the fresh air and reconnect with the earth.
  • At the orchard, learn how to prune, graft and care for fruit trees, or just harvest!
  • In the field: depending on who's involved, you can learn to identify wild plants, learn about permaculture or get to know the farm animals.

Hands in the flour

The Moulin des Etrebières offers you workshops run by passionate craftspeople keen to pass on their skills. We offer a range of workshops, depending on the participants: basketry, sewing, cooking, stonework, mechanics, mosaics, etc.

Manual work is a source of well-being: the hands are busy, the mind is focused on a precision activity that brings great serenity and releases tension.

The skills workshops also encourage creativity: the idea is to use available resources to transform and adapt rather than buy 'ready-made' products. At the Moulin des Etrebières, rediscover the intelligence of your hands and the pleasure of doing things yourself.
